    Food and Beverage Supervisor

    reports to:

    Outlets Manager and/or Director of Food and Beverage

    status:

    Full-Time

    DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for overseeing events and restaurants with the help of Outlet Manager(s)

    • Work with the Outlets Manager(s) to ensure the implementation of the highest guest service and food quality standards

    • Participate daily in the operation of Lago, Jim & Garry’s Pub, Halfway House and/or banquet facilities

    • Enforce Standards, Practices and Policies for all Food & Beverage operations

    • Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage etiquette

    • Knowledge of wine characteristics and proper wine opening techniques 

    • Enforce new Food & Beverage concepts

    • Communicate manager’s goals and objectives to inspire employees 

    • Be present during assigned events and participate in execution 

    • This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program



    QUALIFICATIONS

    • University Degree or College Diploma

    • Minimum 1 year in supervisory role

    • Experience at properties of similar size and quality

    • Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage control systems, the ability to work well under pressure, and a positive attitude



    ADDITIONAL ASSETS

    • Ability to adapt to change

    • Ability to establish and maintain proper inventories

    • Strong leadership skills 

    • Instill a guest service attitude in all employees

    • Creative Problem solving skills

    • Jonas Software knowledge preferred
